Mill Allocation — We Pick the Mill Per Order
A single mill sells what it rolls, and it will happily sell you the wrong thing. Allocation by process is the actual service: marine plate goes to a hot-rolling mill, foil goes to a foil mill, a custom section goes to a die shop. Here is the map, minus the mill names.
| Region | Process | What it is good at | Certification | MOQ | Lead time |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gongyi, Henan | Hot-rolled plate & thick gauge | 5xxx marine plate, 6–200 mm, wide width | ISO 9001 · ASTM B928 marine grade | 5 t | 25–35 days |
| Wuxi / Changzhou, Jiangsu | Cold-rolled sheet & coil, slitting | 1xxx / 3xxx precision sheet, tight gauge tolerance | ISO 9001 · ISO 14001 | 2 t | 15–22 days |
| Zouping / Binzhou, Shandong | Foil rolling | Household, container and pharma foil; low pinhole count | ISO 9001 · Food contact declaration | 1 t | 20–30 days |
| Foshan, Guangdong | Extrusion & anodising | 6063 / 6061 custom die section, anodising 5–25 µm | ISO 9001 · Qualanod-aligned anodising line | 500 kg per die | 18–28 days |
| Ningbo / Taizhou, Zhejiang | Colour coating (coil coat line) | PVDF / PE coil coating, AAMA 2605 film build | ISO 9001 · AAMA 2605 test report | 3 t | 20–28 days |
| Luoyang, Henan | Forging & ring rolling | 2xxx / 7xxx forged ring, Ø 200–4,000 mm | ISO 9001 · AS9100-aligned process control | Per drawing | 30–45 days |
Lead times are production time after deposit and do not include inland haulage or vessel schedule. We state the port we based them on in the quote.
Photographs are illustrative of the process stage. They are not a specific facility, and mill identity is disclosed under NDA rather than on a public page — the EN 10204 3.1 certificate carries the mill name in any case.
Why no mill names
What We Publish, What We Disclose, and Why
Published: region and process
Enough for you to judge whether the allocation makes engineering sense. A 6 mm marine plate from an inland hot-rolling mill is a sensible allocation; the same plate from a foil mill is not.
Disclosed under NDA: mill identity
Naming mills on a public page invites your competitors to quote-shop them directly, and it costs us the allocation flexibility you are actually buying. On an NDA we name them and hand over the audit reports.
Always attached: the certificate
The EN 10204 3.1 carries the mill's own name and inspector signature regardless. You always know who made it — just not from a page indexed for everyone.
How allocation works
Three Inputs Decide the Mill
1Process fit
A foil mill cannot roll 8 mm plate and a plate mill cannot hold 0.006 mm gauge. This filter eliminates most mills immediately and is not negotiable.
2Current rolling schedule
A mill with your gauge already on the schedule quotes 10 days; the same mill quoting a fresh campaign quotes 35. We ask the schedule before we quote the date.
3Certification requirement
Classification society approval, AAMA coating test, aerospace process control — each one narrows the field. Tell us at enquiry stage or we will have to re-quote.
Consolidation
The Part a Single Mill Cannot Do
If you need 2 tonnes of 5052 plate, 800 kg of 6063 extrusion and 1 tonne of 8011 foil, no single mill supplies all three. Three mills means three contracts, three inspectors, three sets of documents and three parties to argue with when something is short. We consolidate: one contract, one inspection regime, one container, one party that answers. That is the concrete thing a mill-direct buyer gives up — and the reason our price is not the lowest on a single-item order.
